Nero Vision not working

I have the latest, because I need to - Vista, you see.
Anyhow - it first came to my attention when I tried to burn a dvd of various episodes of documentaries off the telly.
I opened it, and then add video files....only it didnt work. Tapped a few times, no response. Drag and drop worked, background didnt. Fonts - I have hundreds - only the bare minimum showed. Pressed burn, and I get a white cross and a red background - failed.
Anyone have an idea ? Other progs work ok.
No matter how often I uninstall, and reinstall, the end results the same.

Does this still occour with our latest Nero 7.8.5.0 from off our website?

If it does, how were the source files generated? What format are they in?

If they are DVR-MS files, then I can understand that their might be problems. THough we do support DVR-MS files, they are known to cause problems with most authoring programs. Just make sure you have Media Center 2005 as earlier versions had trouble with DVR-MS files.
