I just installed Nero Media player 1.4.0.5 and it wanted me uninstall version 1.2214 first (so it looks like it can't install the new version on top of the old version). I then tried it again and after it installed I ran it, the interfaced appeared on screen but also an information window asking me to type in my name, organization, and serial number. After I typed in the information ( I used my Nero 5.5 serial number), I got another screen that stated my Demo version had expired and for me to purchase a new key. I click "exit" and the program interface along with the message window disappears. This happens everytime I run Nero Media player - it asks for the information to be entered (the bottom has the buttons: Demo, OK (grayed out) and exit.) It will not allow me to run version 1.4.0.5 although I should by Nero's definition, I am updating from 1.2 to 1.4, it is not an upgrade from 1.2 to 2.0. So, in the end, I uninstalled 1.4.0.5 and reinstalled 1.2214. (This sucks
