Nero speed problems

hello

i have a LG 52x24x52 burner with latest firmware updates. when using nero my whole pc lags and the burn speed at 32x takes 15mins or so. I use 32x b/c my cdr i currently own are 32x MAX and i dont want to mess it up using 52x. anyone know why a 32x write speed takes 15mins???

Check to make sure DMA is enabled.

Try other media.

I agree, it does sound like DMA is disabled. If it's disabled, enable it.

There are instructions on how to enable DMA in the FAQ Forum here at CDRLabs.
