Nero Record upersizes DVD

I was trying to convert a DVD9 to DVD5 for backup purposes and Nero Recode (latest version) upersized the final image, even with DVD5 target size selected.

What source were you working with?

And could you provide more specific's as to what you mean exactly by 'upersized'?

Do you mean the resulting conversion was too large for a DVD5 disc?

I've not been able to duplicate this with 5 DVD Titles I tested with. And how was that source created?
