Whenever I bring up Nero PhotoShow in Nero 7, I get the following warning: "Hardware acceleration is deactivated. Some capture devices may not work properly. You can activate hardware acceleration using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool" On other occasions I've gotten messages to go to Settings (in W2K), Display, and to turn on Hardware Acceleration there. There is no entry in Programs for DirectX or under MicroSoft or Windows or in Add/Remove Programs or under ATI where I originally downloaded DirectX as part of the Radeon 64 setup. There is no entry for hardware acceleration or DirectX under Display in Settings. Does hardware acceleration have to be turned on in the BIOS setup?
