Nero 6 Install Question

Postby paulrussell on Tue Nov 09, 2004 1:29 pm

I currently have Nero 5x installed. Should I uninstall it before installing 6? I asked this question of Ahead a week ago and have received no answer.

I would recommend that you do.

If you try and install Nero 6 over it, it will ask to remove it anyway.

I reccomend removal of your hard drive, the use of a 5 lb. sledge hammer until fine pieces emerge, then travelling to the store to purchase a new HD, followed by installation of nero 6. :^o J/K 8)

I would remove it just before I install Nero 6 since Nero 6 (O.E.M.) is the one I have for burning CD-R/RW.

Its doesnt really matter.Because as Craig already stated the Nero 6 installer will remove previous version anyway.
