Nero 6 & Filenames...

Postby BurninMan921 on Fri Aug 01, 2003 1:54 pm

OK, this is odd:
If I start a data CD in Nero (ISO), whenever I try to add files to the CD it changes the names to all caps & puts it in 8.3 format. Nero Express doesn't do this. The settings appear to be the same: I've switched from Nero Express back to Nero after starting a disk and checked the properties.

So what's the deal here?

I'm using the 6.0.0.9 version w/Win2K SP4.

Select the ISO tab and ensure Joilet option is checked.

It sounds like you've disabled the Joliet file system in Nero. In the "ISO" tab of the "New Compilation" dialog box, make sure that "Joliet" is checked.

Yup, it's checked off...which is why I can't figure out why Nero is doing this
