need some help with my Lite On 411S please...

Okay, so I just dumped my Optorite 0203 for the Lite On 411S. First thing I did was update the FW from Lite On's site. Okay, that installed just fine.

But when I back-up a DVD to my HDD and try to use Nero 6 Ultra Edition to actually burn the DVD, Nero tells me that the DVD's capacity is only 4.4GBs when it should be 4.7GBs.

Whats up with that? I have always used DVD Shrink 2.3 in the past to back-up my DVDs and it worked fine with my Optorite writer. But now that I have the Lite On 411S, I'm having some issues.

Someone please tell me I didnt buy a POS burner... Please.

(by the way, I'm running WinXP Pro SP1 if that will help in any trouble shooting.)

Well, the true capacity of DVD media is really only 4.37GB. That might be part of the reason.
