Sent my DOA LG GSA-H42N back for repairs/replacement. Got a 50N today in it's place
. It is a Panasonic chipset like my 22N, which is why I had bot the 42N in the first place, I wanted a Renasis chipset also. Does anyone know why the 50 series was brought out at all? Appears to have the same features as the 22 line, with the addition of 10X +R DL burning. Surely they wouldn't release a new line just for an updated/modded firmware for 10X would they? Not too keen on dropping another $10 for shipping for replacement, drive was only $38 to begin with. I'll give it a test drive, but something tells me it's going to be the mirror of my 22N. Anything you gents can fill me in on LG's drive abundance would be appreciated.
