Mugger picks wrong victim

AS I said, I think he got exactly what he deserved. He (presumably) picked her because she was in a wheelchair, it was his bad luck that she:

A) Is licensed
B) Had a .357 on her at the time
C) Happened to be on the way to the shooting range

All those add up to:

He was lucky she only got him in the elbow and didn't kill him. Maybe if/when he get's out of jail, he'll rethink his situation before he tries to commit another crime.

That's awesome. Too bad the guy will probably sue her, claiming that because he got shot in the arm, he no longer mug people to support his crack habit.

Sadly, you're probably right Ian, knowing this crazy legal system.

The first thing that came to my mind when I read the story was Bernard Goetz.
