motherboard and memory?

hi. is it ok to use PC333 DDR memory on ECS P4IBAD2 V5.1 motherboard?

You can try. System will post or not. If it does work, the memory will only run at DDR266 speed, which is the max for this board. :)

The memory will probably get underclocked at 266 Mhz.

On a related note (RAM & mobo), will PC 133 SDRAM be usable on a DDR mobo? I know that the connector on the RAM is different (2 notches on PC 133, 1 notch on DDR). I don't think this will work, but I am just curious. I know it will not work the other way, due to the 1 notch in the DDR.

There are some boards that have both DDR slots and PC133 slots (like the old ECS K7S5A), but Pranav81 is right, you can't put PC133 in a DDR slot.
