I hope its not a joke - I would love to be able to go to Best Buy and get a 50 pack for $4.99 with no rebate. Hopefully this price cutting will force other companies to lower CD-R prices too.

Now if Memorex would stop using CMC as a supplier and swtich totally to Tayio Uden that would be even sweeter! :D

And they should finally come out with 24x & 32x :wink: CDR-W media as well !!... still 4x & 10x all ove the place !?? :roll: :x

I haven't seen any TY Memorex spindles in months. I hope that this new pricecut doesn't mean that Ritek or CMC gave a much lower bid and now make 100% of the discs.

Their 52x discs are made by Prodisc. Not quite TY quality, but they work better than CMC and Ritek.
