making a data disc

hi gang

i just made a data disc with a dvd disc with the nero burning rom.they
were in wave format so i encoaded then in mp3 format.after i burned them to a dvd and then i checked them and i found they were saved
in "nrg"format.what is nrg format and how come they werent in mp3
format??thanks.

Sounds like you wrote a nero image to the disc and not the data... open the nrg file with Nero or IsoBuster and I'll guess you will see the data you are after.
