LPs & Cassettes to CD

Postby Welcid on Wed Apr 07, 2010 11:02 am

Hello,

I'm new here; so, I ask for your patience. I have lots of music LPs and Cassettes which I want very much to transfer to cds. The Plextor system has been recommended by a friend. Can I plug a PX-870A into my received and transfer music onto cds that way? You information will be very helpful.

No, you can't plug the drive into the receiver. The easiest way would be to take a cord and plug it into your receiver's headphone out and then plug the other end into your computers mic or audio input. You'll then need to use some software to capture the audio. You can then take this and burn it to CD. There are a number of software packages out there that do the capturing, burning, etc. automatically.
