Looking for DVD player that READS DVD+R DVDs

Looking for DVD player that READS DVD+R DVDs

I have a Pionner 500M.
I have tried the 1.11 firmware and 1.07 firmware both can't read the DVD+R.
it's Data not Video

I could trade it for a liteon ltd163 DVD player but could that read DVD+Rs ?"

Not sure about Lite-On 163 but the new firmware(CH11) for 165H enables +R playback.Check here for firmware:http://www.jlms.com.tw/download.htm

The Chart says
DVD-500M (1.07) Yes Yes

I put 1.07 and 1.11 which suppose to work. Doesn't keeps making that ticking sound !! left it for 30 minutes
Both DVD+R cds i have But there data not video.
