Liteon 52246 Not Reporting C1 Errors with CDSpeed v2.02

Can someone explain why this is the case? I have firmware V6SOC. There's a little check box on the 'CD Quality Check' window that's greyed out.

It's grayed out since the c1 reporting isn't in the current version of cd-dvd speed. Heres hoping the next version it will be functional.

I don't know the answer, but this is my take on the subject:

I believe that Erik Deppe (the author of CD Speed) is working on C1 error reporting, but it isn't implemented yet.

Each drive manufacturer may use a different code or procedure for accessing C1 errors, so this probably is a difficult project.

I can confirm this

Actually it *WAS* supposed to be out already, but I think he had more problems then was initially anticipated. We *SHOULD* see C1 error reporting in the next version, although the next version might still be a ways away

still, it's worth waiting for!
