Hi to all,

I've a problem with this DVD-ROM... it seems that I can't read the DVD+R and DVD+RW, while from the data of the DVD-ROM it supports these standards...

Do someone else have this problem with this DVD-ROM? The new firmware available (ch0z) can correct this error?

Hi alexbill,

I've got three Liteon LTD-165H's, two with the old H firmware and one with the Z firmware and they don't have any issues with the Ritek DVD media that I use, be it -R, -RW, +R, or +RW. I'd probably recommend taking it back and getting it exchanged for a new one cuz these are kick-ass DVD drives.

i have similar troubles. nero-toolkit-software will abort test-procedure.
i have old firmware, i guess. how can i detect these. windows only shows their driver.

i will now test original windows-cds. i tested brand new cds. all aborted.
drive cannot detect multisession cd-r from desktop. i mustr wait until drive/cd will be shown in workingplace/arbeitsplatz(where the drives are)
