I was backin up some of my PS2 games yesterday with my Pioneer 107 drive. For some reason on certain games, the Lead out would just hang! So I had to shut down, power off, power back on then take the dvd out! By the way, I'm using Nero 6.3.0.2
For a game that was about 3GB, when it was hangin, I can see that it actually burnt a larger ring than it would have normally been. Also, I am not using some premium brand dvd blanks, I was using Longten 4X DVD-R. For all the games that I have burnt on this media, they worked flawlessly, even the ones with the Lead Out hang.
I guess for a non-PC application, like PS2 games, the Lead Out part of the disc is probably not too important.
I'm just not sure if this is a Nero problem, media problem, or burner problem.
Anyone else experience Lead Out hanging???
