Intel Application Accelerator

I loaded Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility.After that when I load Intel Application Accelerator and restart,Windows becomes frozen
Then I run Windows 98Se in "Safe mode",remove Intel Ultra Ata in device manager,then Windows runs normally,but then Intel Application Accelerator doesn't work...
I have to load Intel Application Accelerator because it makes my computer(Especially cd writer) faster,I know it because it was working good before,without making Windows frozen

Avoid using IAA. Just make sure all IDE storage devices operate in DMA mode...
