Installing 2nd drive, slave or master?

I allready have a cd burner installed and just bought the new lite-on 166S DVD drive. I just need to know which one should be the master and which one should be the slave? I plan on using the DVD drive mostly for disk to disk copying to the cd burner. What would have the best performance?

For disk to disk copying, set the Lite-On DVD as primary slave.
