How to create disk image before burning - Nero Express?

Admit I'm a newbie but searched the forum and couldn't find the answer. How do I create a disk image before burning. I think I'm set on how to burn an image - it's an option in the Nero Express menu but just don't understand where this image comes from.

All help appreciated.

Welcome ursillorm

When you go to burn instead of selecting the burner from the pull down you select the image recorder this will let you creat an image file to burn from.

He might not come back. Most people just come in here to ask a question and then leave. Very few people are intrested in talking about cd and dvd burners a lot.

Well, maybe so, but if you treat pple nice, they surely tend to come back more often ... right ?

I don't scare that easily. Just bought my burner ($30 for a Cendyne 52x) and starting to use Nero Express, and am sure I'll have plenty to talk about w/ y'all.
