Have a ASUS CRW-5224A burner flashed firmware now got prob..

Hey all i just flashed my new burner to the firmware put out on the asus site now my burner wont burn faster than like 6x.. What is going on, does anyone have an idea???? And if possible is there a way to go back to the previous firmware version which was v1.0 for ASUS CRW-5224A.... All help would be greatly appreciated...

make sure DMA is enabled.
