Ever heard of this CD-ROM drive

How fast is too fast?

Ever heard of this CD-ROM drive

Postby Albinoni on Tue Nov 04, 2003 1:36 pm

My friend gave me a 64x cd-rom drive made by a company called VI-Data, model 626.

Has anyone ever heard of this drive and if so what's the actual brand of it and where can I get drivers for it.

If it's 64x, it must be a Kenwood True-X. I think.

The Kenwood was a 72x. I have never heard of this drive, and it sounds a little fishy. Did you look for it on the manufacturer's website?
