Error trying to format blank disc!!!!!!!

Im trying to format some cdr using direct cd from ezcd 5 plat. ive never had a problem b4 but now when trying to format i get this message:-


''driver cannot lock memory.Drive reported an unknown error(0x40000040)

You will not be able to read and write to the cd through drive letter access''



I recently installed ezcd 6 (for dvd builder) but have since uninstalled this just in case there was a confilct and have now gone back to using JUST ezcd 5 plat for now.....
I un-installed ezcd6 then used roxiozap but i now get the above error upon trying to format a blank disc
