my computer needs a dvd plug in..where can i get one?are they downloadable?thanks

To watch DVD movies? You'll need a MPEG 2 codec, which typically aren't free.

Just buy something like PowerDVD or use Nero ShowTime. It will make your life a lot easier.

ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 5 is supposed to be better than CyberLink PowerDVD these days... Plays BD as well if thats your thing. That said VLC will play DVD's for free... Not really sure what you are trying to do.

The probably here is that to play commercial DVD"s, you still need something to decrypt CSS.
