My DRU500AX is not working on my PC - any ideas ?

Hey all,

I just bought a DRU500ax and installed it in my shuttle PC.

Windows sees the drive, but it cant read ANY media - it somes up with an error message about it not being windows media or being corrupt....

Any ideas ???

System : Shuttle SB51G, P4 2.4 Ghz CPU, 512meg RAM, 120 gig HD, 9700pro Graphics card

as much as i like your name "Jonathan" cause it is mine. I must tell you del one of the thread u double posted. May i suggest that you change the IDE port on your burner

Change the IDE port on my burner - I dont understand.... Its the only item on IDE secondary channel - hard drive is the only item on the primary channel...

Do you mean make a master and slave to check the IDE channel ? Other CD drives work on the IDE channel - I already tested that...

Any more info will be tried and tested - thanks.
