Is NU DDW061 & NU DDW081 the same machine ?

Hi folks,

Known that DDW061 can be upgraded to DDW081 through firmware refresh. Some people even said that they can further upgrade to the upcoming DDW082. But just curious, is 061 & 081 indeed the same machine with different firmware shipped ? Or 061 are those drives which cannot pass all 081 QC and now we can "overclocK" it.

Also, anyway known DVD+R/+RW media which cannot be used on 061 ?

I believe the 061 and 081 are the same


Makes you wonder why they didn't make a 071



They are pulling an old Intel trick, make the Celeron on the same line as the P3 and disable half the cache, then charge 3 times for the CPU that is phyically the same
