Copying PlayStation

A friend asked me if it was possible to copy A PS1 game using a PC.

We tried doing so with Nero 5.5.9.9 as well as with CloneCD but were not successful.

How can one copy these ROM's?

CDRLabs.com does not condone illegal copying of works, however I'm sure you're just "backing" them up or whatever.

Copying Playstation Games

Sorry about that. Yes it was a matter of backing up. He has 2 young sons who are "terrible twins" and they invariably break something. So he is interrested in copying for backup purposes and then giving the backup to them and hiding the original away.
