Second, what the heck took you so long?
Third, when did I ever call anyone, let alone you in particular, an old coot??

for example, if i were one of the old-timers around here who joined in 1970, i still couldn't say i started posting before i was born

Okay, fair enough. Now that you mention it I do seem to recall something like that. Didn't aviationwiz get me started by telling me something like "you must be old" or something? I can't remember... I'm too much of an old coot!
By the way, I meant what took you so long to make your first online purchase in general, not what took you so long to purchase a CDCheck support license in particular. But, since you are an enthusiastic supporter of CDCheck, I guess I could have asked the same question about that.

but since i use it a lot, and also beta test a lot and correspond with the author a lot, i thought i might as well...

Thank you for purchasing the support license, but you needn't. I am
already more than happy with all your comments and beta testing.
