I need help!
I originally installed Ahead Nero from a TDK installation CD, version 4.35, Nero 5.5. Over the months I have upgraded to the newer versions offered by Nero and TDK. I have had IN-Cd installed as well and have also upgraded it.
I recently installed the "Demo" 6.0. I was attempting to purchase the "Up Grade license for the full 6.0 package when I was asked for the serial number from my 5.5 version. I never wrote it down or have misplaced it, but I don't have it.
I've attempted to Un-Install Nero Burning Rom 6.0 and I am unable to do so.
Using Windows uninstalled via the control panel I get the following error:

Error 1316. A networking error occurred while attempting to read from the File: C:\installed\Nero-Burning Rom.msi

The un-install aborts!
I have a stand alone Dell 530 workstation under Wn2k, SP4. I was able to un-install IN-Cd okay. Other installation and un-installs work just fine.
Now I cannot reinstall my original 5.5 version, I get a "Fatal Error during Installation" and the install aborts.
I would like to clean ALL Nero products off my machine and start over or select alternative software.
Can anyone show me the way??
