Can you burn DVD-R with Plextor PX-504A

How's it compare to Pioneer A05 and Sony U500a??

in a word...no.

The Plextor unit can only Burn DVD+R and DVD+RW. It doesn't really compete with the Sony as it can handle all 4 formats.

The Pioneer is a DVD-R/RW burner so it is dificult to compare it to the Plextor.
