Can´t get CD info. Need Help please.

Hi,
I have a LG GCE-8520b v1.04, and instaled Adaptec ASPI 4.6 and Nero ASPI, but i still can´t get CDR media info nor with CDRIdentifier 1.62 or with CD Speed 1.02e. In Cd speed all fields have a single "-" and CDRidentifier says "information not avaiable".
My OS is Win ME. I can´t understand why it doesn´t works. My sister has a GCE-8240b v1.08 and win ME also and it works in her computer...
And i´ve tried the same cd in both computers.
Can anyone help me?

do you by any chance run CloneCD with the "Hide CDR info" enabled? or maybe some other program that does the equivalent?
that could be a reason for the sysmptoms you describe.

I had hide cdr enabled and i had the same sort of thing in Alcohol 120%.
I didn´t remember that setting.
It works now.
I disabled the autostart in my sister computer, so it worked on hers but i completely forgot that i had the autostart enabled in mine...
