Can't burn CD

Audible quit using Roxio and began using Nero. Since I installed Nero, I can't burn a CD. The program quits teh burn after 2' 28" every time. Slowing burn speed, installing updates, uninstall/reinstall makes no difference. Nero support is terrible. I have called several times and been disconnected. I go through once. The tech said I needed a new driver. I could not make him understand my email address where he was going to send the driver. His english was terrible. Help!! What do I need to do??

What is the error you're seeing? Have you tried other media.

You might want to try uninstalling the program and then running the clean tool.

Once you're done, reinstall.

I get "write error" and then "Burn Failed". I burn CDs with other programs fine. Nothing wrong with Hardware or Medium, just this software program. I tried the uninstall/reinstall bit. no change. It still burns 2 1/2 min. then kicks out the disk.

I thought the clean tool would not do anything. But, I was wrong. It worked. Nero is working fine. Nero still has the worst support I have ever encountered.
