Anyone know where I can download firmware for HP 7500 CDRW?

Hi,

I think my drive's firmware is toast. Is there a way for me to download the firmware for this drive? Have search HP and the internet to no avail. Hope someone here can help me.

Someone already suggested I try SONY CRX100e firmware on it. Still no luck after trying it (flashing) on my drive.

doesn't look like they updated the firmware on that paticular hp model

Unless it hasn't been found yet. However, i did not find anything released for the 7500. read this.
