Anyone buy an iPhone?

Any of you guys and girls buy an iPhone? If so, what do you think?

The iPhone looks awesome, but I think the price-tag is a bit too high for me.

Additionally, my employer may reimburse my mobile phone bill in the future and they require another provider, so I'd rather not lock myself into a 2 year contract with AT&T and then lose out on the possibility of mobile phone reimbursement through my work...

According to this, the iPhone cost Apple only $220 to make.

I have an iPod nano 8GB... I also have an LG cell phone through my provider and it has music playback, don't use it. I don't care about it too much the iPhone.

What a rip off.

iPhone-like phones are on the way from Samsung and other manufacturers. This means we'll probably be able to get a similar phone (touch screen, etc) for around $250. Maybe even less with a 2 year agreement.

Amazing little wonder.. there's a gazillion iPhones on eBay now, and the price seems to be more realistic than with the previous PS3 craze... :D

So much hype surrounding the iPhone, much like the PS3. And look, the PS3 has been a failure up until this point. Surely the iPhone will be much more successful, but I prefer saving my cash for what Apple will release in the future. Here is a sneak peak on the Late Show with David Letterman.

There were times, during my 3 years with Cingular (now AT&T.. or something) I would've paid $600 to get the hell off their network.

I don't care about the iPhone, really, but even if I did- there isn't anything that would get me back on Cingular.
