Looks like Adobe has opted to stop holding back their authoring software for HD content, and released CS3 with Blu-Ray support. Although this is not any kind of an official endorsement of Blu-Ray over HD DVD I'm sure, the article does mention the lack of HD DVD-R drives as a main reason in why the software supports Blu-Ray specifically:

And don't worry HD DVD fans, there are plenty of signs that Toshiba *WILL* actually release some HD DVD-R burners this year. My sources at Verbatim tell me they've now made *2* shipments of HD DVD-R product to Toshiba for bundling with drives. So it's assumed that PC based internal drives will eventually go on sale this year, my guess is around Christmas.
