Biwin, an industry leader in flash storage products, today launched 6Gbps Elite Series Mini SATA (mSATA) III SSDs in 25GB, 60GB and 120GB capacities that support sequential read and write speeds up to 500MB/sec and 480MB/sec respectively, and up to 50,000 4k random write IOPS. These Elite Series mSATA III SSDs, based on the SandForce® SF-2281 SSD processor, rapidly accelerate storage performance in modern ultrabooks and small form factor industrial computers.
These drives feature state of the art AES encryption, wear leveling and ECC, and robust resistance to shock, vibration, dust and other environmental threats, making them an excellent choice for primary storage in industrial computing. Elite Series mSATA III SSDs will begin shipping in July to resellers and OEMs worldwide. The 120GB model will retail for about $1 per Gigabyte.
