Vinpower, Inc., through a strategic alliance with Phihong Technology and Silanna Semiconductor, has developed the first universal charging cube, which offers the ability to charge the battery and provide extended memory for virtually all mobile smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers, called the iXCharger. The patented iXCharger is a compact 65W up to 1TB storage power charger, using a specialized third-generation semiconductor GaN technology and ACF controller to provide higher power density and ensure fast heat dissipation in a smaller package, to enable fast, secure, and more efficient charging for mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. However, the iXCharger offers more than superior charging capabilities, it also utilizes an added large-capacity storage component that creates a 2-in-1 solution for both charging and storage. Those that use Apple iOS devices, the iXCharger has a free APP that provides automatic photo, video, and contact backup for iPhones and iPads each time they are plugged into the iXCharger. Instead of having to use both an external hard drive and extra power adapter, the iXCharger creates a single entity that works across a broader set of platforms and devices than current technology offers.

The EXCERIA PLUS G3 Series will leverage PCIe® 4.0 technology and offer up to 2 terabytes (TB) of capacity. The new series is well-suited to mainstream users of high performance gaming PCs, desktops and notebooks, bringing the speed and affordability that they require. The EXCERIA PLUS G3 Series, which is a product under development, will be on reference exhibit at COMPUTEX TAIPEI from May 30 to June 2 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

Western Digital has expanded its portfolio of Nintendo-licensed SanDisk microSD cards with the release of its highest capacity card yet, a 1TB SanDisk microSD card for Nintendo Switch systems. In partnership with Nintendo, this supersized offering provides the highest capacity in the lineup of officially licensed SanDisk microSD cards, giving Nintendo Switch players even more space to take their favorite games on the go.
The new 1TB card bears the Hylian Crest, inspired by The Legend of Zelda™, and has been tested and approved for use with all Nintendo Switch systems. KIOXIA America, Inc. today announced the addition of the BG6 Series to its lineup of PCIe 4.0 solid state drives (SSDs) – the first product to feature the company’s new, 6th generation BiCS FLASH™ 3D flash memory and almost 1.7 times the performance of its predecessor. Designed to unleash the increased speeds and affordability of PCIe 4.0 for PC users, the powerful and compact KIOXIA BG6 Series client SSDs offer a discrete M.2 2230 form factor with higher capacities and improved power efficiency. M.2 2280 single-sided form factor versions are also available.
The KIOXIA BG6 Series unlocks back-end flash performance while maintaining affordability and increasing capacity, making it an especially attractive option for commercial and consumer notebooks and desktops. KIOXIA BG6 drives support the fully matured Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology, which utilizes part of the host memory (DRAM) as if it were its own, to realize a DRAM-less, high-performance SSD.

Solidigm, a leading global provider of innovative NAND flash memory solutions, is expanding its D5 Product Series with the Solidigm™ D5-P5430, a new QLC solid-state storage drive (SSD) optimized for mainstream and read-intensive workloads.
With most of today’s enterprise applications read-dominant, the D5-P5430 — a 4th gen SSD — offers substantial storage density and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) opportunities while delivering read performance that is equivalent to the most widely-adopted TLC SSDs.
The D5-P5430 is optimized for mainstream workloads (e.g., email/unified communications, decision support systems, object storage, and virtual desktop infrastructure) and read-intensive workloads (e.g., content delivery networks, data lakes/pipelines, video-on-demand). These workloads are typically 80% reads or higher and need to move massive amounts of data at high throughput.
